...and from finland, no less. snowing and frigid in d.c. but rather balmy in helsinki (snowing here as well, mind you, but still unusually warm). wish i were home with the kids playing in the powder.
ah well, off to work.

yep, not a particularly stimulating start. but, helsinki i love. good friends there, one a researcher at the university in history of technology and one a professor of history of technology at turku. enjoyed being there and far away from the bushies in the summer of 2003. look forward to visiting again someday. anyhow, be of good cheer. four years will pass quickly. go sailing when the weather gets nice -- helsinki is a perfect spot for it.
